1031 properties are now inscribed on the World Heritage List with 802 cultural, 197 natural and 32 mixed properties in 163 States Parties. 40 of these properties you find in Germany - the Dresden Elbe Valley, however, was deleted from the list in 2009!

2008 Berlin Modernism Housing Estates. The property consists of six housing estates that testify to innovative housing policies from 1910 to 1933.
2009 The Wadden Sea (Germany and the Netherlands)
  The Dresden Elbe Valley was deleted from the list
2010 Upper Harz Water Management - which extended the 1992 site of Mines of Rammelsberg and Historic Town of Goslar
2011 Fagus Factory in Alsfeld
  Prehistoric Pile Dwellings around the Alps (together with Austria, France, Italy, Slovenia and Switzerland)
  The Ancient Beech Forests of Germany and Primeval Beech Forests of the Carpathians in Slovakia and Ukraine
2012 Margravial Opera House Bayreuth, Bavaria
2013 Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe at Kassel
2014 Corvey – Abbey and Castle
2015 Hamburg: "Speicherstadt" and "Kontorhaus" District with "Chilehaus"
